We’ve had six captains in the last eight months. When I started coaching, we didn’t have such a plan. However, with the number of games we play, its importance increases. Dravid said the time is such that such a decision may have to be accepted. He said – Right now it’s Corona time so I had to work with a lot of people. Dravid said – This experience was very fun for me. Many players have had the opportunity to lead. We had the opportunity to discover other leaders in the team and discover their potential. Dravid also expressed his disappointment with South Africa losing their Test and ODI series at home. Dravid said – We constantly tried to improve. We gave chances to many different players. The tour of South Africa over the past eight months has been a bit disappointing in terms of Test cricket. Dravid is pleased with the bowling talent that has emerged through the IPL. He said white ball cricket has been good for us. This reflects the character of the team. Dravid said – We saw some new fast bowlers emerge during the IPL which was amazing. Especially some bowlers bowled at a good pace. These are very good signs for Indian cricket. The time ahead is going to be fun.
